Accounting Manager (Campbellfield)

Our Group owns and manages a diverse portfolio of investments spanning trading businesses, real estate, and financial assets. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and play key role in managing the financial operations of the Group's entities. Reporting directly to the founder. The successful candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and delivering accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will be diverse, reflecting the nature of the Corporate Office. Key responsibilities include:
- Month-End Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reports
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance partners to prepare and monitor budgets
- Accounts Management: Oversee all accounts receivable and payable processes
- Fixed Assets Management: Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets register
- Cash Management: Reconcile cash balances, manage inter-entity transfers, and oversee bank account setup/closure
- Compliance and Reporting: Deliver accurate financial statements, BAS/IAS returns, income tax calculations, and support annual FBT and income tax returns
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing workflows, procedures and documentation About You The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, analytical acumen,and a collaborative approach. Key qualifications and experience include:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role within a complex organization
- Education: Relevant degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business. CPA or CA membership is essential
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Xero and MYOB is required, with strong knowledge of Accounting standards and Legislative Frameworks
