Wet Fire Tester (Campbelltown)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Wet Fire Systems Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with robust knowledge of wet fire systems who enjoys a mix of testing, maintenance and minor repair works while working within a supportive and professional team. About the Role The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for routine testing and inspection of wet fire systems, with a strong focus on sprinkler and hydrant flow testing across a variety of sites. Key duties include:
- Sprinkler system testing and inspections
- Hydrant system testing and flow testing
- Conducting routine wet fire maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards
- Recording and reporting test results and system defects
- Minor repairs and rectification works, including:
- Fire hose reel replacements
- Hydrant landing valve replacements
- Minor wet fire component repairs and maintenance
- Fault identification and defect reporting
- Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
- Maintaining high safety and compliance standards onsite What We're Looking For
- Current Sprinkler Contractor Licence or Plumbing Contractor Licence (Required)
- Experience in wet fire testing and maintenance
- Minimum 1-2 years of wet fire testing and maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of sprinkler and hydrant systems
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication and presentation
- Australian work authorisation required at time of application Desirable but Not Essential
- Experience performing sprinkler and hydrant flow testing
- Experience undertaking minor wet fire repairs and rectification works
- Fire industry qualifications or additional relevant training What We Offer
