Early Learning Centre Cook (Campbelltown)

Our small local service has an opportunity for a passionate and wonderful cook to join our team. Catering to the most amazing children, your job will be rewarding and fulfilling as you build relationships and bonds with our children. Our ideal cook will be passionate, creative, funny, love to laugh, vibrant and quirky. Our children love to converse, visit you at the kitchen and invite you to eat lunch with them. You will be responsible for:
- Complete menu planning which is age appropriate for the children being catered for and follows recognised nutritional guidelines;
- Manage the kitchen in total compliance with health department requirements, Educational and Care Services National Regulations and Law, National Quality Standards/Framework and related policies and procedures.
- Ensure all procedures are maintained to high standards e.g.: hygiene, overall presentation of kitchen area
- Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and its coordination with the other programs of the service. What you need:
- A valid working with children check
- first aid is preferred but not required
- formal caertifications are not required but experience in hospitality or early childhood settings is required We offer career progression pathways, future study options, on the floor and off the floor paid trainings and professional development.
