We are currently looking for an Educator to work in Campbelltown on acasual basisto help support our Lead Educators and create great play experiences!If you have some availability to help for a few hours a week during school terms,we'dlove to hear from you. - 12.30pm ABOUT THE ROLE Educators support Lead Educators to deliver purposeful, evidence‑informed playgroup experiences that support children’s development and build parental confidence. They create welcoming, engaging environments aligned to EYLF and AEDC domains, and ensure each session reflects the strengths,interestsand emerging skills of attending children. Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming,safeand inclusive playgroup environment that encourages positive participation from children and families.
- Support the Lead Educator to plan and deliver playgroup sessions, contribute to topicdiscussionsand share relevant information with families.
- Deliver inclusive group experiences aligned with Playgroup NSW principles and program expectations.
- Maintain a high standard of duty of care, promptlyidentifyingand reporting hazards,incidentsand injuries in line with procedures.
- Assistwith session set‑up and pack‑down, ensuring environments and practice align with the EYLF, AEDC and Playgroup NSW frameworks.
- Uphold child‑safe practices and respond appropriately to any safety or wellbeing concerns.
- Support children’s interests,inclusionand participation, includingage‑appropriate decision‑making.
- Maintain safe,engagingand appealing learning environments.
- Drive the PLAYVAN to program locations asrequired.
- Undertake other duties as directed to support effective program delivery. ABOUT YOU We'dlove to hear from you if you have:
- MinimumCert III in Child Related Studies or currently studying within a relevant field.
- Experience working in an early childhood setting.
- Strong knowledge of development through play practices and positive parenting strategies as well as an understanding of the importance of early learning attendance for children prior toschool.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Working With Children Check, Driver’sLicence, andable to drive a larger vehicle. For you to be successful in the role, it is significant that you have all the above requirements.
