Our Chance
To support our ongoing growth Nepean Engineering & Innovation are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join the team. This position is a full-time permanent prospect based in Narellan, NSW.
Your daily duties will include however not be limited to:
Purchase order management including RFQ, order placement, order confirmation and order maintenance.
Communicate with project management team and/or internal customers around purchasing requirements including suppliers, pricing, order status delivery schedules.
Ensure all open purchase orders are continually maintained to be accurate and up to date.
Assist the store function and act as a back-up where required.
The Right Person
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you will have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Previous experience within manufacturing/industrial environment.
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team workplace.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Exposure to PRONTO or SAP would be beneficial but not required.
