This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of kitchen operations, lead a large team, and deliver consistent, high‑quality food across daily service and functions. Backed by Redcape Hospitality , you’ll lead a structured kitchen with clear standards, accountability and consistency – supported by experienced group leaders who help you perform in the role. About the role As Head Chef, you’ll lead all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency and quality across service. What you’ll do
- Lead kitchen operations across bistro and functions.
- Build, coach and lead a high‑performing kitchen team.
- Manage stock, labour and costs to meet budget.
- Oversee menu execution and maintain food safety and WHS standards.
- Work with the leadership team to drive overall venue performance. What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a high‑volume venue.
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and developing teams.
- Experience managing large‑scale service and functions.
- Strong understanding of food cost control, labour management and delivering to budget.
- Hands‑on, structured and solutions‑focused approach.
- Passion for delivering consistent, high‑quality food.
