We are seeking experienced Systems Administrators, Systems Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers with deep expertise in Microsoft/Windows platforms and VMware virtualisation . - Administer and support Windows Server , Active Directory , Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and enterprise Microsoft services
- Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure , including vSphere, ESXi hosts, clusters, and virtual environments
- Perform patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management of Windows and VMware platforms
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation layers
- Ensure adherence to ASD ISM , Defence security requirements, and ICT compliance standards
- Produce clear technical documentation, system designs, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable systems
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers when required Skills & Experience Required
- Strong hands-on experience administering Windows Server and core Microsoft infrastructure
- Solid VMware experience
- vSphere, ESXi, vCenter (NSX-T or vSAN beneficial but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualisation architecture
- Experience supporting secure environments, ideally Defence or Federal Government
- Familiarity with automation or scripting tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform
- advantageous)
- Strong communication and documentation skills Education & Certifications (Highly Regarded)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104, etc.)
