**Are you an experienced forklift operator, and have you worked as one in the construction industry?**

This is the chance to work for the best construction company in Canberra.

We are looking for skilled individuals with at least 12 months of operating experience to join our team. You will be allocated to our premier client and offered 40 hours per week on a casual basis to start.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proficiently operate forklifts to facilitate the movement, relocation and stacking of construction materials on a construction job site.
- Safely load and unload materials, adhering strictly to established safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal functionality.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation standards within the construction environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to streamline workflow and meet operational targets.
- Adhere rigorously to all safety regulations to mitigate risks and uphold a secure work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Current driver's licence and forklift operator licence.
- A minimum of 12 months of experience operating forklifts in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Capability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting within a fast-paced workplace.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all endeavours.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective teamwork.
