**Who are we?**

**Position: Civil Design Drafters (3D or 12D Experience)** Initial 12 Month Contract / High Hourly Rate

Canberra -based
- 3 Days in the office, and 2 days remote

We are currently seeking skilled Civil Design Drafters proficient in 3D or 12D to join our client's team. As a Civil Design Drafter, you will play a crucial role in coordinating design and documentation with various engineering and drafting disciplines, working closely with other team members to ensure seamless project execution adhering to technical and commercial standards.

**Projects include: Water management, levy, roads, pads, pipeline work, and prep plants with tier 1 Mining Clients**

**Responsibilities**: In this role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

- Collaborate with other engineering and drafting disciplines as well as team members to coordinate design and documentation efforts effectively.
- Utilising your skills in Civil 3D or 12D
- Execute assigned project tasks involving 2D and 3D CAD design, working as an integral part of the team to meet project objectives and standards.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and successful project outcomes.
- Provide support to other business sectors in various project activities, spanning from feasibility studies to detailed CAD designs.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and development of CAD technical standards and workflows.

**Experience Required**: To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience in civil design drafting.
- Practical experience in civil design and drafting within Minng or of roads for heavy and light vehicles, water management infrastructure (including dams, levees, and pipelines), hardstands, stockpile pads, and other civil engineering infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.
- Experience with 3D or 12D is also essential, as it will be a primary tool used in your daily work.
- Previous experience in mining or industrial infrastructure projects is not mandatory but will be highly regarded.
