We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist with robust hands‑on expertise across enterprise technologies. The successful candidate will work on‑site and provide high‑quality technical guidance, troubleshooting, and operational support to one of our key clients. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the optimization of the organization’s content management capabilities. Please note a minimum NV1 security clearance is a requirement for this role. Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex incidents and service requests across IIS/.NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, OpenText, and Dynamics.
- Maintain operational stability by managing lower environments, coordinating releases, and performing regular application patching, upgrades, and security maintenance (Windows, SQL, Java/JDK, .NET, ADFS, certificates).
- Optimise performance and reliability through tuning of IIS, SQL, Tomcat/Java, SharePoint components.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and fulfil service requests efficiently.
- Automate and streamline operations using PowerShell for routine tasks, configuration checks, deployments, and runbooks.
- Ensure accurate documentation including SOPs, KB articles, diagrams, and CMDB entries, while keeping users updated throughout ticket lifecycles.
- Contribute to modernization and decommission planning. Experience And Qualifications
- Prior experience in System administration, Windows on‑premises, cloud environments and Active Directory including Windows Server, PowerShell, IIS/.NET, SQL Server ops, Tomcat/JDK, SharePoint 2019 & SPO admin, OpenText CS + OTDS ops, Dynamics CRM ops, ADFS/certificates, patch/change, performance tuning, documentation/CMDB will be highly regarded.
- Minimum NV1 Clearance is required.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of enterprise content management principles, records management, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to provide periodic weekend and A/H on‑call support on a roster system (once suitably experienced). Our Culture And Benefits
