Description Leidos Australia is seeking multiple skilled Network Administrators to join our GEOSPACES program, delivering advanced national security technology solutions in a secure, high‑compliance government workplace. Your New Role And Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and reliably operate the organization's data and voice communication networks, ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of critical network services that support mission‑essential operations.
- Network Operations: Manage and maintain network infrastructure hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Incident Response: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 incident response and resolution for network outages and complex connectivity issues, minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce network security policies, manage firewall rules, and conduct regular monitoring to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Configuration and Documentation: Configure network devices and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation of network topology, configurations, and procedures.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal network health and capacity. What You’ll Bring To Make An Impact
- Network Fundamentals: Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP).
- Hardware Experience: Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Firewalls and Security: Experience managing and troubleshooting network security devices and firewall policies.
- Troubleshooting: Proven ability to use network analysis and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds) to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Benefits
