An ongoing opportunity exists for a highly organised and efficient individual to join our busy Practice Services team.

**About the role** The Practice Services team works collaboratively with all practices across AGS and has responsibility for a diverse range of work including managing our outpost practice, our pro bono Practice, our internal training programs including the Core Legal Skills and the Seminar Series, the AGS Opinions database, our knowledge management framework, our induction program and our graduate program.
The Practice Services Managing Assistant works under limited direction to set priorities and manage team workflows with a particular focus on managing the outpost practice and supporting knowledge management initiatives. This role works directly to the National Manager, Library and Practice Services.
Day to day duties may include:
- proactively managing the movement of outposted lawyers to and from outpost roles, including preparation of draft contracts and correspondence
- managing relationships with clients Practice Areas and outposted lawyers, and coordinating the logistics for AGS support to outposts
- supporting the Legal Knowledge Manager and any Assistant Knowledge Manager with the administration of knowledge management practices and procedures, including by partnering with the AGS Practice Areas
- assisting with AGS audit processes and other corporate projects
- supervising other support staff in the Practice Services Team
- undertake other projects or tasks assigned by the National Manager Library and Practice Services, the Legal Knowledge Manager or the Assistant National Manager Practice Services.
