Accountant (Canberra)

About the Role Joining the business as the Company Accountant, you will oversee all aspects of finance, including accounts reconciliations, month‑end and end‑of‑financial‑year reporting, budget development and management, project finance administration, cash‑flow forecasting and payroll management. You will be responsible for leading and supporting two accounts staff while ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the finance function. This is a full‑time permanent position with a competitive salary. Your Skills And Experience
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience gained from the local Australian market.
- Experience covering the preparation of financial statements in a commercial workplace and exposure to budget and cash‑flow management.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial matters to non‑technical colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
