Azooa is currently preparing a response to RFQTS LH-06469 and is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified professionals for a Senior SmartIQ (Intelledox) Software Developer opportunity supporting the Australian Federal Police (AFP) within the CTO Transition Program (NG-LEMF). About the Role This is a highly specialised opportunity for an experienced developer with strong SmartIQ / Intelledox expertise who can design, develop, integrate, and maintain workflow‑driven solutions in a secure Federal Government setting. The successful candidate will support the development of smart forms, workflow processes, integrations, and technical artefacts that contribute to consistent and maintainable delivery across AFP systems. This role will suit someone who brings both hands‑on technical depth and the ability to work effectively in a small team, contribute to standards, and support knowledge uplift across the delivery environment. Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain SmartIQ / Intelledox solutions
- Build and support integrations using open APIs
- Develop workflows covering data inputs, outputs, approvals, document generation, and system interactions
- Establish, apply, and uphold development standards, frameworks, and procedures
- Produce key technical artefacts including:
- Technical documentation
- Configuration and development artefacts
- Contribute to workflow automation and process improvement initiatives
- Support integration patterns enabling forms and workflows to retrieve and ingest datasets across systems
- Work effectively within a small team environment while contributing strong technical delivery capability
- Provide mentoring, training, and knowledge transfer to team members where required Qualifications
- Mandatory technical requirements:
- SQL Server
- SmartIQ / Intelledox platform
- Microsoft DevOps Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience with Azure setup and deployment Preferred Skills
- Highly desirable experience:
- Workflow analysis and management, including:
- Verification
- Approvals
- DocuSign
- Document routing
- Experience enabling forms to retrieve and ingest datasets across systems
- Experience documenting smart forms and code for maintenance and enhancement
- Demonstrated mentoring and training capability
- Experience bringing solutions together across multiple systems
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements in a delivery environment
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team
- Familiarity with test‑driven development and strong production standards
- Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications Pay range and compensation package No formal rate cap has been provided. Azooa’s recommended guidance is:
- Recommended maximum rate: $145/hour including super
- Around $130/hour including super is expected to represent strong value for money and improve competitiveness
