About the Role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fuel Truck Driver to join our busy and hardworking refuelling division in our Canberra Branch. The role is full time and availability for early morning starts as required is a requirement for the position. Duties
- Fuel Truck Driving
- Onsite equipment re-fuelling as required
- Onsite Fuel Delivery
- Basic Yardperson duties as required/directed
- Other appropriate duties as required/directed
- Weekend work may be required from time to time Skills and Experience You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum MR truck licence, with at least 2 years professional driving experience
- Possession of a white card is essential
- Flexibility for hours for future contracts and client needs
- starting time may vary!
- Asbestos & Silica card is not essential but would be well regarded
- A valid and current car drivers licence with an excellent driving record and a safety focused mindset
- a copy of your current driving record will be required to be produced at your interview.
- Focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Can work independently, plus listen and follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised
- Self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and punctual with excellent work ethics and a robust team mindset
- Has proficient English reading and writing skills
- A stable work history and checkable work references. Previous experience delivering fuel and forklift licence would be highly regarded. Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
