SAP ABAP Developer (Canberra)

- 12 months contract + up to 2 years extension option
- Canberra Bridge IT Engineering is currently seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer located in Canberra for an prospect with a federal government client. Key duties and responsibilities
- Provide SAP ABAP and WebDynpro Development;
- Undertake tasks related to the day to day maintenance of SAP ERP and SRM systems;
- Respond to reported problems, performing fault diagnosis, analysis and rectifications tasks;
- Provide or assist in the analysis of enhancements of SAP ERP, SRM and related area as required by the business areas;
- Provide or assist in impact assessments and analysis of SAP delivered support packs and enhancements;
- Support, design, configure, test and implement SAP ABAP, Web Dynpro and Floorplan Manager programs, functions and methods;
- Assist in the development and documentation of technical design standards and work within these standards;
- Develop or assist in the development of test plans and user documentation;
- Mentor and perform skills transfer to other team members and participate in code reviews;
- Keep up to date knowledge of common IT methodologies, frameworks and best practices; Technical skills
- ABAP OO programming, ABAP Reports, Dialog Programming, BDC’s, BAPI and LSMW, User-Exits, Badi, Enhancements, Web Dynpro, SAP Workflow.
- ABAP HR Programming, ESS, MSS.
- SAP Scripts, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, HR Forms, UI5 and Fiori
