Salary package: $121,359 to $129,772 per annum plus 17% superannuation Term: Full-time, Continuing Position Description and Selection Criteria, please visit the official ANU Jobs website to download the document: The Position The Research School of Chemistry is seeking a skilled Laboratory Manager to work closely with our academics and students and ensure the protected operation and maintenance of school laboratories and oversee our chemical safety practices. This role will oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliance with chemical, laser and magnetic safety and be responsible for the chemical management and waste management for the school. The Person The successful candidate will have formal qualifications in chemistry, and experience working in the higher education sector. They will have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work with a range of people, proven knowledge in chemical management and strong knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety in a chemistry laboratory environment.
