Hyatt Hotel Canberra is Canberra's first hotel located in the heart of the capital. Our Heritage listed hotel interweaves the hidden mystique of the 1920s with contemporary Art Deco designs. With 252 rooms and suites, our hotel offers an escape within a heritage-inspired setting. The traditional furniture styles as well as garden and park views are all enhanced with sleek technology.

**About the Role**

We're looking for a dynamic and engaging Food & Beverage Attendant with a flair for bartending to join our team! As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding service, creating memorable dining and drinking experiences, and building strong relationships with guests. Whether you're shaking up cocktails, recommending a wine pairing, or connecting with guests with your natural charisma, you'll play an essential role in bringing our bar concepts to life.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- To be fully conversant with all services, offers, promotions and facilities offered by the hotel
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
- Engage and connect with guests, making them feel welcomed with your outgoing personality and ease of conversation
- Following international and local Bar and Drink trends
- Closely follow and complete opening and closing procedures and check lists
- Serve alcohol responsibly and report any concerns to duty manager immediately

**Qualifications**:

- Current Food & Beverage experience in hotel environment or similar fast-paced environment
- A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- The ability to create a positive first impression
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Mixologist / cocktail bar background
- Wine knowledge highly advantageous
