About the Role As our Residential Life Manager, you will lead wellbeing initiatives, mentor Residential Advisors, and bring our community to life through meaningful programs and events at the UniLodge @ UC portfolio. You will create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and cared for. Responsibilities
- Plan, run, and improve programs and events that support student wellbeing, engagement, and success.
- Recruit, train, and support Resident Advisors (RAs), helping them build strong relationships and maintain community standards.
- Look after residents’ wellbeing by providing guidance, making referrals, and working with university and local support services.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive community where residents feel safe, respected, and connected.
- Work closely with university teams, contractors, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent community experiences. About You We are seeking a people‑first leader who thrives in a dynamic, community‑focused environment. With strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, you’re passionate about supporting student wellbeing and creating a positive resident experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of wellbeing, empathy, and mental health.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, managing competing priorities across busy periods such as O‑Week, exams, and intakes.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
