Our headspace teams are seeking Registered Psychologists with FULL AHPRA registration to provide private practice services and deliver focused psychological strategies to young people aged *****. headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, acting as a one-stop-shop for young people seeking support with mental health, drug and alcohol, primary health and vocational/educational issues. These positions are located on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. These roles offer excellent flexibility to maintain your existing private or public work and provide contracted services for as little as one day each week. This provides an chance to expand your scope and support the community during these times. Responsibilities
- Provide high standard, person-centered counselling and focused psychological strategies to young people with mental health concerns.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Engage as a contractor with a referral base of young people who have been assessed and are ready to access services. What you'll be provided
- Full administrative support (including reception, billings, appointment bookings and reminder service)
- Fully web-based medical record software with IT support
- Co-located General Practitioners We hope to hear from fully registered and experienced Psychologists who are passionate about making a difference to the health and wellbeing of young people. Qualifications and Requirements
- Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services
- Willingness to undergo or provide full compliance documents including current Police Check, Working with Children's Check and Covid Vaccination Evidence
- Your own equipment (unless specified in your agreement)
