Manila in Canberra is a growing Filipino restaurant, and bar known for warm hospitality, bold flavours, and a vibrant dining experience. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and confident Bar Lead who can elevate our beverage service and support the front‑of‑house team.
About the Role
We are seeking someone experienced behind the bar and confident in leading a shift. This role suits someone who enjoys creating cocktails, engaging with guests, and ensuring smooth front‑of‑house operations.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks Lead and support the front‑of‑house team during service Maintain bar standards, stock levels, and cleanliness Provide warm, effective customer service Assist with opening and closing procedures Coordinate with the kitchen and management for smooth service flow Ensure compliance with RSA and venue policies
What We’re Looking For Robust bar experience (cocktails, wine knowledge, drink preparation) Confident leading a team or supervising a shift Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, organised, and able to work in a rapid‑paced environment RSA certified Someone who represents the brand with professionalism and warmth
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
