Service Technician Audio Visual Canberra

We are looking for an experienced roaming audio‐visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) technician to manage the day‐to‐day AV/VC infrastructure across multiple client sites.

What You Will Do

You will deliver exceptional technical service, build solid client relationships and ensure all systems operate flawlessly.

Maintain and Optimise Systems:

Provide proactive, routine onsite service and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all AV/VC setups.

Troubleshoot and Resolve:

Quickly diagnose and resolve complex AV faults, utilising your expertise in advanced fault‐finding and service call‐outs.

Document Everything:

Produce explicit, high‐quality service maintenance documentation and reports following preventative inspections and repairs.

Drive Strategic Upgrades:

Serve as the critical technical liaison, collaborating with clients, engineering and project teams. Recommend modifications, design improvements and necessary system upgrades.

Support Work:

Backfilling for our Resident Service Technicians.

Essential Skills and Requirements

A/V System:

Proven experience working with AV/VC equipment, including knowledge of fault‐finding, LAN/WAN, control platforms, AV schematics and digital sound processors.

Technical Qualification:

A relevant trade qualification in electronics, communications, or audio‐visual; equivalent demonstrated industry experience will also be considered.

Logistics:

Must hold a current valid Driver's License and access to own vehicle.

Work rights:

Australian Citizenship is desirable to be able to access secure agency sites.
