Senior DevOps Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance Required) Shine Solutions is an Australian IT consultancy and software development services provider that uses cutting‐edge technologies and expertise to create practical, innovative technology solutions. Role We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in designing, building and supporting secure, scalable cloud solutions for complex projects, primarily within government environments. You will be a technical go‐to, contributing to architectural decisions, automating delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines and improving engineering practices across teams. Working closely with developers, business stakeholders and operations teams, you will balance deep technical expertise with strong consulting and communication skills to deliver high quality outcomes and continuous improvement. You must be an Australian Citizen with minimum Baseline security clearance. Required Skills & Experience Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices. Government project experience, including working in regulated, security‐focused environments. CI/CD expertise with hands‐on experience building and maintaining pipelines using GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions. Script proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation, tooling and migration tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‐technical stakeholders. Understanding of non‐functional requirements such as security, performance and accessibility.
