Endpoint Engineering Architect (Canberra)

About the Role (your why) Our Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for creating and maintaining robust desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for our customers, enabling remote support and ensuring standardisation across diverse IT landscapes. As the Endpoint Engineering Architect, you'll work closely with customers to transform their businesses in line with cloud‐first productivity and collaboration solutions as part of their digital transformation journey. You will also provide expert advice, develop ongoing processes, and help drive continuous improvement in customer environments. Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. What you'll do The Endpoint Engineering Architect will be a point of escalation and provide mentoring and coaching to engineers. The following provides an overview of the end user solutions which we are seeking competence in (but not limited to): Strong understanding of Enterprise endpoint management solutions (SCCM, Intune and JAMF) Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration and deployment Robust understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy and users and computers) Experience with AvePoint baseline Good understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, PKI, Print Services, File Services, Exchange, SharePoint) Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration & deployment (in both traditional and modern management approaches) Endpoint security technologies (such as Microsoft's Defender for Endpoint, Symantec, CrowdStrike) Strong understanding of VDI and DaaS solutions including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Strong can do attitude Working knowledge of Microsoft supplementing competitor solutions such as Patch My PC, Aternity, Ivanti App Control and Airlock Digital Public cloud exposure such as Azure and AWS as well as background in traditional on‐premises hosting technologies (vCenter and/or Hyper‐V) and supporting hybrid cloud technologies We are an agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders' changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What you'll bring We are looking for someone with 8 years of IT industry experience plus experience in an Endpoint Architect role. You are passionate about your work, proactive, client-focused and believe in customer service as a point of differentiation in a service offering. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team, maintaining high relationship building skills.
