Medical Receptionist (Canberra)

The role is a full‐time position working Monday to Friday, between 7am and 10pm across our four clinics in Canberra: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong. Role Overview As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Responsibilities Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check‐in procedures. Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans. Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers' compensation, and DVA. Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers. Training as a contact centre agent to assist as required: Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Booking appointments across our four Canberra clinics. What we're looking for Explicit verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow. Confidence working across multiple screens and systems. A strong background in customer service. Ability to rotate across the four clinics in Canberra as required: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong.
