About The Role We are seeking a

CI/CD Senior Engineer

to design, implement, and operationalise CI/CD automation that enables repeatable, secure deployment of multiple security and identity platforms. This role is responsible for establishing pipeline standards, building reusable automation patterns, and embedding security guardrails into the CI/CD lifecycle in line with secure development expectations. You will work as a specialist within a delivery team, partnering with product engineers to enable reliable build/deploy separation, configuration injection, artefact generation, and evidence‑ready releases.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline architecture and standards, including logical stages, separation of build vs deploy, configuration injection points, and artefact generation.

Establishing secure pipeline guardrails to support shift‑left security, including standard checks and enforcement patterns within the deployment pipeline.

Implementing automation and custom scripting required to integrate platforms into CI/CD pipelines and enable repeatable deployments.

Defining reusable CI/CD patterns for:

Configuration‑as‑code promotion and versioning

Environment consistency and controlled releases

Rollback, traceability, and release provenance

Integrating automated testing and validation into pipelines (unit, integration, regression as appropriate), including policy‑as‑code or configuration validation patterns.

Producing CI/CD documentation and standards artefacts (pipeline playbooks, templates, and runbooks).

Working with engineering teams to remove manual steps and ensure deployments are reproducible and version‑controlled via Git‑based automation.

What We’re Looking For

5–8+ years’ experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or platform engineering roles.

Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD standards across multiple products or platforms.

Strong scripting and automation capability, with a focus on maintainable templates and reusable patterns.

Strong understanding of secure SDLC principles and how to enforce them through pipelines.

Security Clearance Current NV2 Security Clearance.
