We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family. Job Description As our AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Canberra region. Depending on your location, you’ll have the opportunity to work close to home.
- Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
- Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
- Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation
- Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Thrives in a cooperative, multidisciplinary team environment
