Location: Canberra | Employment Type: Full-time Permanent | Security Clearance: NV1 Required This is a key technical role within a multi national software company supporting Defence-related programs. You will join a collaborative operations team within a company that genuinely values its people, professional development, and long-term career growth. The role is Canberra or Brisbane based (in office/hybrid) and requires Australian Citizenship with the ability to hold and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance. The Opportunity We are seeking a Solution Engineer to join our Brisbane team, providing solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, training, and testing. Reporting to our Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting C4 products within customer environments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage software installation, configuration, and support in the customer's C4I environments for tests, training, exercises, and operations.
- Set up and test integrations between C4I software products and coalition systems, sensors, effectors, and communication systems.
- Design, implement, and support technical solutions.
- Ensure alignment, effective communication, and coordination between stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver technical training to customer administrators and users.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support to customers on C4I software products, installation, integration with other software/equipment, and end-users.
- Support projects to ensure delivery within agreed scope and timelines.
- Stay up to date with C4 software product roadmaps to maximise value for customers. Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience with IT infrastructure and platforms such as Windows, Linux, Android-based OS, Active Directory, database management systems, XMPP chat.
- Experience deploying software applications into cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of administration and operation of military command information systems, tactical radio devices, radio networks, and ITIL (desirable). Security Requirements
- Must hold (or be eligible to obtain and maintain) an NV1 Security Clearance.
