Classification and Compensation Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration) Salary package: $98,387–$113,252 per annum (pro‑rata) plus 17% superannuation Terms: Part‑time (up to 0.6FTE), Continuing (contingent funded) Position Overview RadInnovate aims to build recent capabilities for nuclear science and radiation by training the next generation of transdisciplinary leaders through integration of core science, technology, regulation, governance, and societal values. RadInnovate is led by ANU in partnership with Adelaide University and 15 industry and government partners on co‑designed research projects in nuclear science, technological innovation, and regulatory and social responsiveness to equip Australian industries with a future‑ready workforce. About the role As the Communications and Engagement Officer, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and support the operations of RadInnovate, working closely with the Director of the Training Centre and partner organisations to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and monitor communication and stakeholder engagement activities of RadInnovate.
- Support events essential to building the Training Centre's research community.
- Engage students, early‑career researchers, senior researchers, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts.
- Deliver engaging content and build our stakeholder network. Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in communications, content management, or media.
- Experience in event management (highly regarded).
- Knowledge or experience working in a scientific research environment.
- Ability to deliver engaging content, communicate clearly, and build stakeholder network.
