Responsibilities The Technology Deployment Architect (TDA) is the technical driver of IBM’s Enterprise License Agreement (ELA). They enhance the client’s understanding of their ELA and the capabilities and value it can provide to their business, and work with the client to achieve and measure these outcomes. The TDA identifies, expands and accelerates the deployment of IBM solutions through business and technical advisory relationships built within their client(s). They are a key member of the IBM Client account team, contributing to the planning and activities to transform the client/IBM relationship and assist the client in achieving their objectives. Focused on the front end of the solution life‑cycle, the TDA provides strategic technical advice and assistance with respect to IBM software technology offerings. They create or maintain architectural work products that facilitate conversations about potential applications for IBM solutions relevant to the client’s current and future business requirements. The TDA advises on IBM’s alignment with existing solutions and architectures, the capabilities of relevant IBM software solutions, and how IBM software products may be combined to deliver new or enhance existing business solutions. When appropriate, the TDA facilitates the involvement of other IBM specialists who can provide deeper insights into specific IBM technologies. The TDA provides guidance and assistance to the client on technical issues and roadmaps and architecture strategies for future releases of IBM products they already use. They may also advise on IBM software architectural design methodologies, tools that the customer can leverage to aid development of architectural solutions, and recommended practices to minimise project risk for IBM Software. Qualifications Required Education : Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education : Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage extensive relationships throughout client and vendor organisations in an unprompted and "walking the floor" fashion
- Experience in Data, AI, Security and Cloud
- Significant solution architect, design and deployment experience within complex IT environments that has resulted in successful business outcomes over a 10‑year period
- Working knowledge and certification in one of the enterprise architecture standards
