- Help shape curious minds through creativity, design andinnovation About the Role The position of ADT Technical Assistant is to providecomprehensive technical support to teachers and students within theArt, Design and Technology Faculty. In this role you will maintainequipment and materials to be used safely in Visual Arts and Designand Technology workspaces, including woodwork, computermanufacturing and metalwork areas. This will be for staff andstudents in practical lessons. You will be required to followguidelines established by the School to protect the safety andwellbeing of all users of the Visual Arts and Design Centre,showing knowledge of Work, Health and Safety requirements. About You You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the use of a wide range of workshop machinery and tools
- High level of administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate calendars and conflictingschedules
- High level of written communication and interpersonalskills
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teammembers
- Previous experience using the following applications including; Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Exceldesirable) and school management database systems (Synergeticwould be highly regarded). Requirements for team members
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check;
