Role As Assistant Director, People & Culture (multiple streams) you’ll be providing expert HR advice and leading initiatives across people operations, capability, wellbeing and employee relations:
- Provide accurate advice on enterprise agreements, legislation and HR policy frameworks
- Develop practical solutions to complex and evolving people issues
- Ensure employment practices are consistent, lawful and support organisational integrity
- Contribute to workforce planning, capability uplift and leadership development
- Lead or support initiatives that strengthen culture, inclusion and employee wellbeing
- Manage employee relations matters including conduct, grievances and performance
- Prepare high-level briefs, reports and submissions for senior stakeholders
- Partner across the organisation to deliver effective and contemporary HR outcomes Ideal Person You are an experienced public sector HR professional who understands the pace, structure and accountability of Commonwealth environments. You bring sound judgement, discretion and the ability to navigate complexity while maintaining a calm and practical approach. You are confident working across policy, legislation and employee relations, and you know how to translate frameworks into clear, workable solutions. You build robust relationships with stakeholders and communicate with clarity and confidence at all levels. - $120k – $130k + Super
