About the Role Join Zinfra as a Team Leader and take charge of delivering complex underground civil utility projects for ZGS Power. In this pivotal role, you'll lead and inspire multi-disciplinary contractor teams, ensuring projects valued between $250K and $20M are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards. You'll manage field staff, optimise resources, and drive efficiencies while maintaining exceptional quality and customer service. With a strong focus on compliance, safety and performance, you'll play a key part in sustaining Zinfra's long-term success. - Assisting with the management and providing supervision of small to medium construction works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
- Assisting with the planning and organising of field activities, allocating personnel, plant, and equipment effectively to meet project and maintenance requirements.
- Leading subcontractors, ensuring training, tools, vehicles, and work environments are optimised for performance and safety.
- Monitoring and improving operational efficiencies and delivery performance to support Zinfra's short- and long-term business objectives.
- Overseeing and auditing work practices to ensure compliance with Zinfra policies, quality systems, and statutory safety requirements.
- Managing resources, supporting project managers with variations, and coordinating materials and subcontract services.
- Preparing and assisting with pre-contract project planning, estimation, and reporting, including weekly and monthly progress updates.
- Ensuring quality controls and processes are carried out.
- Ensuring and enforcing safety procedures, quality standards, and customer service expectations across all worksites and activities.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving enquiries professionally. About You The ideal candidate will have experience applying technical expertise in civil construction and or pipelaying within complex utility environments, while demonstrating strong leadership and operational capability. They will excel at building relationships, driving protected and efficient project delivery, and making sound decisions under pressure. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are essential. Those selected for interview must demonstrate the below in their resume:

- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and/or civil systems, operational policies, and risk management practices.
