About the Role As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer, you will manage and maintain IT infrastructure and applications to meet the specific needs of our clients. Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise, managing infrastructure, monitoring performance, and ensuring the security and availability of systems and data.
- Work with cloud providers to configure and manage cloud resources, set up automatic scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies, and perform system updates and patches.
- Optimize performance of systems through collaboration on hardware and software configurations.
- Diagnose and resolve root‑cause problems to deliver long‑term solutions.
- Collaborate with operations staff, engineering and client services to keep cloud services available 24/7. About You Qualifications and experience:
- Deep knowledge of supporting and managing AWS Cloud environments using primarily AWS native tools.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, OUs & Service Control Policies.
- Skilled in IAM, KMS, roles and policies.
- Familiar with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline.
- Proficient with AWS VPCs, VPC peering, VPC endpoints, Transit Gateway & Direct Connect.
- Experience with EC2 (Linux and Windows), Load balancers, Auto‑scale groups & RDS.
- Working knowledge of S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudWatch Logs, Events & alarms.
- Experience with Security Hub, GuardDuty, Firewall Manager, Config & IAM Analyzer.
- Knowledge of Managed NAT, ECS Fargate, Internet Gateway & Route53.
- Experience with AWS Backup, Systems Manager, EFS, Lambda & Kinesis Data Firehose.
- Experience with AWS OpenSearch.
