Key Details 12‑month maximum term opportunity. Full‑time hours. Hybrid work: 2 days per week in office (choose your days!). Versatile location within NSW or ACT. About the role The Manager – Resilience (S&T;) works closely with the Senior (State) Manager – Programs to deliver a portfolio of programs that support migrant inclusion and participation, strengthen individual and community resilience, preparedness and recovery, and deliver other strategically aligned community programs as needed. This role is responsible for building and strengthening collaborations across local, regional and state/territory communities, and government sectors to advance Australian Red Cross’ strategic priorities and revenue objectives. - Demonstrated experience in managing scalable programs and activities across geographic boundaries.
- Well‑developed cultural competency skills and the ability to work with and lead teams of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Sound understanding of the issues affecting people impacted by migration, and their vulnerabilities, needs and strengths.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of community resilience, preparedness, and recovery program models.
- Ability to undertake significant projects involving sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems. A current Australian Driver’s licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements of this role. Benefits
