Consultant, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Job ID: #***** Capabilities: Office Setup: Hybrid We are looking for a talented, curious, and committed Consultant, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications to join our team in Canberra. Our ANZ Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Section partners with clients and the broader Jacobs business to design, deliver, and evaluate engagement and communications programs for major planning and infrastructure projects. We help our clients solve complex challenges, considering stakeholder and community risks, impacts, and benefits, aiming to deliver positive environmental and social outcomes. Clients span the energy, water, defence, transport, and health sectors. We're particularly interested in hearing from skilled stakeholder engagement & communications specialists who have experience working for Defence or another Federal Government organisation. An AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance or willingness to be vetted for and apply for this (at no expense to you) is required for this role. Responsibilities
- Draft communications for a range of channels, including Ministerial updates, briefing presentations, engagement event information panels, webpage copy and media releases.
- Coordinate stakeholder and community engagement activities, both in-person and online, such as meetings, workshops, information sessions, webinars and online forums.
- Manage engagement databases and file saving and sharing sites.
- Draft engagement action plans and engagement outcome reports, including stakeholder analysis, risk analysis and data analysis.
- Collaborate with a range of technical specialists and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in continual improvement.
- Develop your consultancy and project management skills, in line with Jacobs Global Career Framework. Qualifications & Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts or a related field.
- 2+ years relevant experience in communications and/or engagement.
- Some experience working in Government.
- Active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (desirable).
- An understanding of International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) best practice as defined by the Engagement Institute.
- Robust organisational, problem solving and communication skills.
- A 'can do' attitude with an interest in continuous learning and improvement.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced setting and juggle multiple priorities.
