A little about the role Reporting to the Recruitment and Panel Manager, the Recruitment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting prospective foster carers on their journey with KAA. You will provide a professional, caring and responsive carer experience, and complete all due diligence and administrative tasks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in Out of Home Care (OOHC). Key responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for foster carer enquiries, providing timely, realistic and strengths-based information.
- Arrange and conduct assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits, risk assessments and associated reporting.
- Coordinate and assist with foster carer training, information sessions, and promotional events to attract, support and retain carers.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Key Assets systems, contributing to a smooth and compliant recruitment process. The base salary for this position is $76,372.40
- $81,905.20 per annum (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + mobile + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE), ongoing position based from our Lyneham office. - Communicate with empathy and professionalism, building trust with people from diverse backgrounds and with varying experience.
- Thrive in a quick-paced environment, balancing administrative, outreach and assessment tasks with care and attention to detail.
- Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and can adapt quickly as needs change.
- Have experience in OOHC, either through lived experience and/or in a professional capacity.
- Excel in administration and customer engagement activities, ideally with demonstrated experience in the community services sector.
- Value inclusivity and demonstrate cultural awareness, particularly in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities.
