Solve Complex Structural Challenges on Australia's Largest Projects Our Structures team works on some of Australia's largest and most dynamic projects, where innovative design decisions directly shape how things are built. You will influence outcomes from early concept through to delivery, working closely with architects, builders and clients. Known for innovation and supported by AtkinsRéalis' global systems, tools and specialist teams, you can stay focused on complex engineering, problem‐solving and delivery rather than administration. We have a permanent opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our growing team based in our Canberra office. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a wide variety of projects across Australia, building your technical expertise and gaining hands‐on experience in structural design. Day‐to‐day, You Will Contribute to the design and documentation of building structures Work closely with senior engineers to deliver high‐quality outcomes for clients Assist with design calculations, modelling, and analysis across steel and concrete structures Collaborate with colleagues nationally and support multidisciplinary project teams Gain exposure to site inspections, construction practices, and client liaison activities What We're Looking For Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering 2‐5 years' industry experience A developing knowledge of large building projects – concrete frame and steel structures in commercial, industrial, or retail sectors An interest in geotechnical interaction, basement/retention walls, seismic and wind design loads Sound understanding of Australian Standards and codes of practice Strong problem‐solving skills with a commitment to practical, innovative solutions Eager to learn, adaptable, and a proactive team player Why Join ADG?
