LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

Caffi Logistics Pty Ltd t/a QLS-CAFFI is one of Western Australia’s largest growing specialist logistics businesses in this state. We specialise in providing warehousing, storage, and distribution of all types of appliances to all retailers, throughout Western Australia.

We are currently seeking a new team member for the full-time role of Logistics and Distribution Manager to join our team in Jandakot, WA

As a Logistics and Distribution Manager, your main responsibilities will include the following:

- Developing and implementing storage and distribution strategies and plans
- Overseeing database records in regards all incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Maintain merchandise inventory at minimum cost
- Maintain documentation in regard to merchandise
- Conducting stocktakes to ensure stock levels match with the database
- Ensuring outgoing stock meets the customer standards and requirements (quality control, note faulty goods and ensure outgoing products are not damaged)
- Coordinating the delivery of the outgoing stock with other departments and customers
- Overseeing damaged and faulty stock
- keep records per client requirements
- Conduct initial training for new personnel, ongoing training for existing staff members
- Supervising staff efficiency, monitoring their performance and productivity
- Ensuring health and safety are met at all times
- Good interpersonal skills

- Liaising staff and managing shifts
- 2-3 years of experience in managing team and conducting training
- Time management, ability to think ahead and deal with changes

- High level of operating warehousing machinery (forklift, High-reach, Clamp forklift, pallet jack) and ensuring their maintenance

Other licences and certificates you will need to have include the following:

- Forklift licence
- High risk work licence
- First Aid Certificate

Pay: $90,000.00
- $99,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
