Civil Engineer – Main Roads / Civil Infrastructure Projects …, Jandakot

Concity is a growing civil construction and project delivery company delivering civil infrastructure, access works, road upgrades, earthworks, drainage, and development-related infrastructure across Western Australia. With several active projects and a growing pipeline, including Main Roads WA interface projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong Western Australian local experience to join our Jandakot office and support both office coordination and site delivery activities. This is a key role working directly with the Director and consultants to deliver civil projects from design coordination through approvals and construction delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil projects from planning through to completion
- Manage consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities
- Assist with Main Roads WA approvals and Works Within Road Reserve applications
- Coordinate Traffic Management Plans (TMP), utility approvals and authority requirements
- Review civil drawings, specifications and consultant deliverables
- Assist with drainage, pavement, earthworks and civil infrastructure delivery
- Coordinate survey, geotechnical investigations and site preparation activities
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery milestones
- Conduct site inspections and quality control activities
- Assist with procurement and contractor coordination
- Support permit approvals and compliance processes
- Prepare reports, technical correspondence and project updates
- Work across office and site environments as required About You
- Civil Engineering qualification recognised in Australia
- Minimum 5+ years local WA civil engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with Main Roads WA requirements and approvals
- Solid understanding of WA civil infrastructure delivery processes
- Experience with roadworks, drainage, pavements, earthworks and civil construction methodologies
- Experience coordinating consultants and authority approvals
- Ability to read and review civil engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple project priorities
- Current WA Driver's Licence Highly Regarded Experience
- Main Roads WA interface projects
- Works By Others (WbO) projects
- Local Government civil works
- Utility coordination (Western Power, Water Corporation, NBN etc.)
- Temporary Traffic Management coordination
- Subdivision or development infrastructure projects
