**Seeking full time Supply and Distribution Manager**
Best Choice Food and Hospitality Services Pty Ltd is a privately owned and operated Australian food wholesaler. Our modern office and warehouse is located in the suburb of Canning Vale in Western Australia. We are seeking to employ a full‑time Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee and manage the end‑to‑end supply chain and the distribution of our products to our extensive customer base.
- Demonstrate knowledge of a wide range of dry, chilled, frozen, and staple food products, particularly those commonly sourced from Asia
- A minimum of 12 months’ employment experience in a comparable managerial role within supply, distribution, logistics, or a related operational environment
- Strong communication abilities and well developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective coordination with suppliers, staff, and customers
- Possession of a qualification equivalent to at least an Australian Bachelor degree in Business, Management, Logistics, or a closely related discipline.
- Plan, organise and manage the end‑to‑end supply chain operations including procurement, storage and distribution of food products
- Coordinate purchasing activities and maintained working relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent product supply
- On-going liaison with our customers regarding the constant provision and supply of food products to meet the customers’ needs
- Manage and oversee our Sales and Purchasing departments which include task allocation, operational guidance and on‑the‑job training to team members.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee our stock control systems to maintain optimal stock availability and minimise wastage, including stock-takes and reconciliation of stock discrepancies
- Forecast inventory requirements based on customer demand patterns and seasonal business fluctuations
- Schedule and supervise daily delivery operations, including the management and coordination with our drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries of our products to our customers
- Ensure our drivers comply with operational policies including fatigue management and safety requirements
- Implement safety procedures and ensured compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety regulations
- Prepared operational reports including inventory levels, stock movements, logistics performance and delivery outcomes to the general manager
The offer salary will be $90k per annum plus Superannuation.
Pay: $80,000.00
