The Opportunity We are seeking qualified electricians to join our growing team. As a Solar Electrician at Technaus Solar, you will install, maintain, and commission solar PV and battery systems. This is a full-time role working on projects across the region. Skills and Responsibilities: As an electrician at Technaus Solar, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems. Your key duties/skills will include:
- Conduct site inspections to assess system requirements and feasibility
- Review drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and system designs
- Install PV generation systems including panels, wiring, inverters, and batteries
- Integrate systems with existing electrical infrastructure
- Identify layouts, perform continuity checks, and position switchboards and connection points
- Provide input into wiring diagrams and revisions aligned with project requirements
- Use appropriate installation, testing, and diagnostic tools
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty components
- Support sales, estimation, and pricing teams when required
- Test, commission, and maintain systems in line with QA and QC standards
- Follow all safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in solar and battery system installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Understanding of supervised work requirements where applicable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Willingness to travel interstate if required
