Key Responsibilities As an Electrical Engineering Draftsperson, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing electrical drawings in accordance with project specifications and design requirements.
- Interpreting and applying electrical design standards, specifications, and layouts provided by Electrical Engineers and Senior Drafters.
- Modifying and updating existing drawings based on feedback, instructions, and project requirements.
- Liaising with suppliers, wholesalers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and assist with estimating material quantities and costs.
- Collaborating closely with Electrical Engineers, Technicians, and Project Teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of electrical drawings and plans.
- Ensuring all drawings comply with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant Australian Standards.
- Maintaining accurate drawing registers, revision records, and document control systems.
- Producing and updating technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
- Providing general drafting support, including plotting, printing, archiving, and document management.
- Assisting in the preparation and completion of as-built drawings upon project completion. Skills and Attributes The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Electrical Draftsperson, Electrical Designer, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and drawing production.
- Experience preparing detailed electrical drawings from scopes of work, design specifications, and functional descriptions, preferably within heavy industrial or process plant environments.
- Strong AutoCAD skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. What We Offer
