Customer Service Officer (Canning Vale)

Join Heatleys Safety, Industrial & Hardware Looking for more than just another customer service role? At Heatleys Safety, Industrial & Hardware, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our growing Canning Vale team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with customers across industrial supplies, PPE, tools, equipment, and workwear while supporting a busy and supportive sales team. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where your contribution genuinely matters — we’d love to hear from you. The Role As a key part of the branch team, you’ll help deliver outstanding customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Processing orders, quotes, returns, and transactions accurately
- Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs
- Recommending products across PPE, tools, equipment, and workwear
- Supporting sales growth through proactive service and upselling opportunities
- Maintaining accurate customer records and general administration
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve branch goals About You You’re someone who enjoys helping customers, takes initiative, and thrives in a busy team environment. You’ll ideally bring
- Experience in customer service, internal sales, or trade/industrial environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valuable attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
