Mechanical Engineering Technician (Jandakot)

**The opportunity**

Coregas has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. The role will be based at our Jandakot, Western Australia site. The duties will include:

- Assess, detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across our vehicle fleet
- Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components to thoroughly check for wear and replacement requirements
- Mechanically repair and replace worn and defective parts across our fleet and reassemble mechanical components
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance services across our fleet, including oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve safe and efficient running of our fleet
- Test all mechanical parts after being repaired to ensure repairs are adequately completed
- Inspect our fleet daily for roadworthiness and maintain records of inspections carried out
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and conduct off-site repairs as required
- Maintain high standards of practice and awareness in relation to Quality Assurance and safety management
- Uphold compliance management for Secure Work Systems for all maintenance activities on the site
- Support with the transportation of product as required and load and unload product
- Operate manual handling equipment in accordance with SOP
- Conduct general housekeeping to ensure worksite safety is adhered to

The remuneration will be $38 per hour | $75,088 per annum + superannuation.

**Experience**:

- Mechanical engineering: 3 years (preferred)
