- Processing, you will play a key role in;
- Coordinating, planning, and overseeing the efficient receipt, processing, storage, and distribution of incoming donations and finished products, as well as the sale of textile products via the export market.
- Oversees the Warehouse Factory Outlet and packaging and assembly operations, ensuring effective workflow and operations.
- Accountable for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining exceptional standards of culture, quality, and safety, and working as an integral member of the Warehouse team to support the achievement of Good Sammy’s mission and commercial objectives. Please note the shift is from Mondays
- Fridays from 7.30am
- 3.30pm. Job Description What you'll do: Support Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, direction, and training for all staff to ensure daily productivity and safety KPIs are met.
- Be the first escalation point to assist participants with behaviour support and emotional regulation and assist to meet their individual employment goals.
- Maintain rosters and up to date records and Elmo training including leave, time and attendance, journal entries and noggin reports.
- With assistance from the Team Leaders, undertake people management responsibilities including inductions, training, volunteer oversight, performance and development planning, and Individual Employment Support Planning.
- Assist in facilitating safe participant departure and arrival during rostered work hours. Including escorting participants across the road to the bus stop, to a taxi/ride share service or to reception to await pick up.
- Work as a part of the wrap around support model and collaborate with Q&S;, Service Delivery and People and diversity to ensure compliance with NDIS services and employment law. Operational Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Warehouse unloading area
- Manage incoming donations and ensure they are processed through the unloading belt in a safe and effective manner.
- Ensure work areas are clean, maintained, safe, and that safe work practices and SOPs are always followed.
- Report any issues relating to safety, production, or equipment maintenance and assist solutions.
- In collaboration with the General Manager, manage and implement operational improvements.
- Work with the GM Warehouse and Logistics on incoming donation volumes to ensure logistics have the capacity to collect donations and have them processed.
- Work with other Warehouse Coordinators to ensure overall operational priorities are met, including sharing resources to do so
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required. Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring:
- Experience in managing, supervising, training, and mentoring staff, with the ability to support and develop others.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative, multitasking, and planning ahead to manage workflow trends.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and capability to perform tasks requiring precision and efficiency.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail, including the ability to count quickly and use Microsoft Excel competently.
- Forklift licence.
- Previous experience managing people with disability.
- Problem-solving ability.
