Management Accountant (Canning Vale)

Job Title: Management Accountant Employer: Lignum Trading Pty Ltd Location: Regional Western Australia Employment Type: Full-time Contract: 3 years (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional – Subclass 494) Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 per annum plus superannuation. About the Company Lignum Trading Pty Ltd is a growing trading and supply business operating across regional Western Australia. We are seeking a competent and motivated Management Accountant to support financial planning, reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making across multiple business locations. Australian citizens and permanent residents are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given priority consideration. Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing monthly management reports and analysing financial performance
· Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
· Monitoring financial outcomes against business plans and targets
· Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
· Supporting internal financial controls and compliance systems
· Analysing operational costs and identifying efficiency opportunities
· Preparing cash-flow projections and performance reports
· Assisting with BAS preparation and taxation reporting requirements
· Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and advisors
· Supporting financial oversight across multiple operational locations in regional WA Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience in a Management Accountant or similar role Strong analytical, reporting, and organisational skills Experience using accounting software and financial reporting systems Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible and willing to travel and work across different operational worksites within regional Western Australia as required Salary and Conditions Full time position Superannuation paid in accordance with legislation Position available for employer sponsorship under Subclass 494 visa if a suitable Australian worker is not identified Please submit your CV and cover letter addressing the selection criteria to Applications from Australian citizens and permanent residents will be prioritised.
