Production Supervisor (Canning Vale)

As a Production Supervisor at Caman Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility in Canning Vale, WA. This full-time position requires an individual who can foster a positive team dynamic, and ensure the smooth production within the workshop environment. In this multi-faceted position you will play an important role in the production machine shop with a key focus on QA/QC processes. What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the workshop production team, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing output.
- Provide technical support to the production team as required.
- Ensure that manufactured items are completed in accordance with the appropriate product standards and work order specifications.
- Active participation in the QA final checking of customer orders and conducting final QA/QC checks for manufactured items.
- Active participation in the development and maintaining of QA/QC and OH&S; systems and processes.
- Consult with third party sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of specialized manufacturing services when required.
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to minimise disruptions
- Consult with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of manufacturing activities.
- Maintain safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment What we're looking for
- An individual who can supervise in a machine shop production manufacturing environment
- Solid technical knowledge of production processes.
- Strong working knowledge of QA/QC processes, and health and safety practices
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to advise and technically assist machinists as required.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and people skills
