About Us Eco Sakura Energy Pty Ltd is a growing renewable energy and solar product distribution company headquartered in Western Australia. The company supplies a range of solar energy products, including solar panels, inverters, energy storage systems and mounting solutions, to installers, distributors and commercial partners across Australia. Due to continued business growth and increasing operational data across sales, procurement, inventory, warehousing and customer service functions, we are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and improve business performance across our renewable energy distribution operations. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, validate and integrate data from sales, procurement, inventory, warehouse, customer service and financial systems to support accurate business analysis.
- Specify data requirements, collection methods and reporting logic for internal analysis across Eco Sakura’s renewable energy product distribution operations.
- Assess the reliability, completeness and usefulness of source data, and identify data quality issues affecting reporting accuracy.
- Analyse sales, product, customer, inventory and regional performance data to identify trends, patterns, risks and business opportunities.
- Apply statistical analysis and forecasting methods to support product demand planning, purchasing decisions, stock allocation and warehouse distribution across WA, NSW, QLD and VIC.
- Perform data mining and data cleansing to extract insights from large operational datasets, including order history, stock movement, customer enquiries and product profitability.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reports and analytical models using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting platforms.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and improve the efficiency, accuracy and consistency of internal analytical outputs.
- Prepare clear analytical reports and recommendations for senior management to support pricing, procurement, inventory control, sales planning and operational decision-making.
- Document data definitions, analytical methodologies, reporting assumptions and data governance procedures to improve consistency across departments. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Commerce or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business reporting, sales analytics, inventory analysis, supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Robust ability to collect, organise, analyse and interpret complex business data from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
- Experience using databases, SQL, ERP/CRM/inventory management systems or accounting/reporting software will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Benefits
