Registered Nurse (Canning Vale)

Part -Time(Night Shift) We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our aged care team on a part-time night shift basis at Aegis Amherst. - A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
- An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff. Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by:
- Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
- Anticipate Residents changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
- Support Residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns. You will be responsible for compliance:
- Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
- Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting. Your role within the team would involve:
- Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
- Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team. We need you to possess the following accreditation, skills and working rights:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
- A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance. Aegis Provides
